Sub: Financial Assistance in respect of visually challenged Teachers during XI Plan-
period reg. 

Sir/Madam, 

I am directed to inform that UGC has already made allocation for financial 

assistance to visually handicapped teachers under merged scheme on the basis of the 

recommendation of Expert Committee which has visited your College to examine the 

requirements of your college for XI Plan period. The allocation has also been conveyed 

to your College vide this office letter of even no. dated 31-3-2010. Therefore, you are 

requested to make admissible payment to visually handicapped teachers as per UGC 

guidelines out of the merged scheme and submit the UC to enable this office to take 

further necessary action in this regard.
